Free storage, and a real conflict in the fine print
How long does storage actually stay free? Three Lolobuy pages converge on 180 days — the homepage, the dedicated free-storage article and the “What is Lolobuy” page (one of them in a 300-day aside that does not match its own 180-day headline). A separate how-to article instead says 90 days, and names a different warehouse city than the one the public address endpoint returns. This site treats 180 days as the better-supported figure across more pages, but your own order's countdown on its status page is the only number worth trusting fully.
Past the free period, the charge is CNY 10 per LI unit per 30 days, and a parcel with no waybill submitted after the free period risks being treated as abandoned stock.

Shipping lines vary by destination country, parcel weight, and whether the contents are flagged sensitive (liquids, powders, battery-adjacent goods usually route onto a slower, pricier line). Declared value and tax
On the lines Lolobuy lists, duty is calculated against a declared value set in USD; if you pay the resulting tax in RMB, Lolobuy converts it at the live exchange rate on the day of payment rather than a fixed rate. ShipCare, briefly
Optional, 5–6% of (merchandise value + freight). Four named failure modes trigger a payout — lost, damaged or part-lost, seized at customs, or badly delayed — and nothing else; it is not blanket insurance. Attach it per shipment at the freight-payment step, not per item.
