Lexicon: Lolobuy's own vocabulary, filed A to Z

46 entries drawn from Lolobuy's help centre, notice board and public API, each defined the way it is actually used on an order page — not paraphrased from a generic agent glossary. Click a term's cross-reference to jump to the related entry.

How to use this page

A list for mid-order lookups, not a first read

This list is not exhaustive — Lolobuy's help centre runs to 86 articles and 21 notices, and new vocabulary appears whenever the site adds a feature. What is here are the terms most likely to stop you mid-order: a status you have not seen before, a fee line you do not recognise, a policy that two different pages describe two different ways.

Lolobuy help-centre guide explaining how the 1688 shopping-agent service works
One of the platform-specific help articles this Lexicon draws its vocabulary from.

Where Lolobuy's own pages disagree with each other, this Lexicon says so by name instead of quietly picking the friendlier number. That shows up most in the entries for free storage period, QC photos, volumetric weight and return/exchange window.

A

Affiliate program
noun, referral scheme
Lolobuy's five-tier referral scheme (L1 through L5). You earn a commission on the international shipping a referred user actually pays, not on the item price. The published example has an L5 affiliate earning CNY 40 on a referred user's CNY 500 shipping payment — an 8% rate. Orders that are refunded, self-purchased, or paid at zero value do not count.

Android and iOS apps
noun, mobile clients
Lolobuy's native apps, launched within weeks of each other in 2026: Android first, iOS in July. Both mirror the website's ordering flow rather than adding features the browser site lacks, so this site's screenshots and steps apply to either.
Anti-counterfeiting policy
noun, legal page
A standalone help-centre page stating that products sold through Lolobuy must be authentic. Break that rule and the consequences Lolobuy lists are real ones: a declined order, a suspended account, funds held back, stock disposed of at your cost. Reports route to [email protected]. It is published under Lolobuy's own entity name rather than borrowed boilerplate — worth reading in full before you submit anything you are unsure about.

Apple and Google sign-in
noun, login option
Two of the three ways to create a Lolobuy account, alongside email registration. Both are one-tap OAuth flows; there is no separate password to set if you use them, which matters if you later want to delete the account and need to know which credential you actually signed up with.

B

Brand tag
noun, listing detail
The sewn-in or hang-tag label a seller photographs as part of a listing or a QC photo set. Tag wording and placement are one of the fastest ways to sanity-check a listing against its catalogue photo — see Picking a Seller for what tags tend to give away.

C

CenturyPay
noun, payment channel
A credit-card payment channel Lolobuy added via notice in 2026. Its processing fee is 4% at the regular rate, with a 3.5% rate running as a limited-time promotion — budget for the regular rate unless the promotion is explicitly still live when you check out.

Chengdu warehouse
noun, facility
Lolobuy's sole publicly listed warehouse, in the Shuangliu district of Chengdu, Sichuan (postcode 610225). The address is returned by a public, no-login API endpoint, which is also how this site confirmed it independently of the help centre's own description. A relocation or expansion was announced with a full-operation date of 9 June 2026.
checkInviteCode
noun, API endpoint
The public endpoint Lolobuy's own front end calls to validate a referral code before prefilling it at sign-up. This site used it to confirm its own linked invite code was still active on the date this Lexicon was last checked — see the Updates page for that date.

Compensation policy
noun, loss & damage
The separate help article covering what Lolobuy pays out when a parcel is lost or damaged and ShipCare was not purchased for it. Read this before assuming an uninsured shipment is covered the same way an insured one is — the terms differ, and the uninsured path depends on carrier liability rather than a flat Lolobuy guarantee.

See also: ShipCare

Customised product
noun, order type
An order flag for listings a seller will alter to a buyer's request — sizing, engraving, colour swaps. Lolobuy's own purchase-note table marks customised and pre-order items as requiring extra detail from the buyer up front, because both tend to ship slower and are harder to return once made.

See also: Pre-order

D

Declared value
noun, customs figure
The USD figure Lolobuy uses to calculate duty on its listed shipping lines. If you pay the resulting tax in RMB, the conversion happens at the live exchange rate on the day of payment, not a fixed rate set when you placed the order.

See also: Tariff threshold

Delete my Lolobuy account
noun, help article
One of the most recently added articles in the help centre, walking through account deletion from the mobile app's Settings screen. Its existence is itself informative: it is a short, mechanical flow rather than a multi-step retention funnel.
Discord
noun, community channel
Lolobuy's official community server, linked from help articles under two different invite paths and from an icon in the site's own right-hand rail. Several help articles reference specific channels inside it by name, which suggests some support or community discussion routes through Discord rather than only through the in-site help desk.

E

Estimate page
noun, tool
The public freight calculator at lolobuy.com/estimate. It takes a destination country, a weight in grams, and up to three product-category tags, and returns a short list of eligible shipping lines with prices — no login required. This site's own line finder is built from a dated snapshot of the same data, not a live call to it.

F

Fine photo service
noun, paid add-on
A paid, higher-detail photography option priced at roughly CNY 1.50 per photo up to five photos. It sits awkwardly next to Lolobuy's advertised promise of free additional QC photos on request — see the Lexicon entry for QC photos for how this site reads the apparent conflict.

See also: QC photos

Forwarding service
noun, service type
The half of Lolobuy's business that is not a shopping agent: you ship a package you already own to the Chengdu warehouse yourself, and Lolobuy consolidates or forwards it onward. The help centre keeps a separate user-guidance article for this path because the intake steps differ from an agent-purchased item.
Free storage period
noun, warehouse policy
How long a parcel can sit in the warehouse before storage charges start. Count the mentions and 180 days wins: the homepage, the dedicated free-storage article and a third page all land on that figure. One lone how-to article breaks ranks at 90 days and names a different warehouse city entirely. This site treats 180 days as the better-supported figure but flags the conflict rather than hiding it — check your own order's countdown rather than trusting either number blindly.

G

Gift from seller
noun, order complication
An unrequested bonus item a seller packs in with a purchase. Lolobuy's purchase-note table flags this explicitly: a gift adds weight (raising the freight cost) and may itself be a restricted item — liquid, powder, battery — which can force it to ship separately after stock-in rather than with the rest of the parcel.
Growth points
noun, VIP mechanic
The number that moves a Lolobuy account between VIP tiers. The published thresholds jump from 600 points for VIP1 to 6,000 for VIP2 and 12,000 for VIP3, which is a steep curve — most casual buyers will sit at VIP0 or VIP1 for a long time.

See also: VIP levels

I

Invite code
noun, referral token
The short string appended to a Lolobuy sign-up link that credits a referrer. This site's own linked code is 501hk; using it does not change your price, it only attributes the account to the affiliate who shared it.

See also: Affiliate program

L

LI
unit, storage billing (sic)
The unit Lolobuy's own storage-overage fee is quoted in: “10 yuan/LI/30 days.” It is written exactly that way on the help page, without a definition. This site's best reading is that it is shorthand for a single piece of stock, but that is an inference, not something Lolobuy states outright.

See also: Storage overage fee

M

Minimalist packaging
noun, free add-on
One of several free packaging options in Lolobuy's value-added-service price list, alongside carton packaging, shoe-box removal and packaging removal — all listed at zero cost. Choosing a lighter package can shave real weight off a parcel, which matters once you are paying per-gram freight.

See also: Shoe-box removal

MyBank
noun, payment channel
An Italy-specific bank-transfer payment channel, priced at 1.65% per transaction plus a fixed CNY 1.71 charge. It is the only channel in Lolobuy's payment list tied to one country rather than offered broadly.

See also: Payment methods

N

Notice centre
noun, announcements board
Lolobuy's running list of dated public announcements — new payment channels, warehouse changes, promotional events. It is a better source for ‘what changed and when’ than the help articles, which are rewritten in place without a visible changelog.

O

Operating entity
noun, legal name
HONG KONG BEYOND TECHNOLOGY LIMITED, registered at 900-904 Canton Road, Mong Kok, Hong Kong. Lolobuy's terms of service name this entity as the platform operator and specify Hong Kong law and the non-exclusive jurisdiction of Hong Kong courts for disputes.

P

Payment methods
noun, checkout options
The channels Lolobuy has rolled out via notice through 2026: CenturyPay cards, Stripe (major card networks), MyBank (Italy), PayPal, PIX (Brazil), and a USDT/Bitcoin crypto option added later in the year. Not every channel is available in every country; what you see at checkout is what applies to your account.

See also: CenturyPay, MyBank

PIX
noun, payment channel
A Brazil-only instant-payment channel, settled in USD or EUR on Lolobuy's side even though PIX itself is a Brazilian domestic rail. It was added in the same notice wave as PayPal.
Pre-order
noun, order type
A listing that requires a deposit up front and the remainder paid once the seller confirms stock or completion. Lolobuy's purchase-note table requires you to specify a payment-completion timeframe for pre-order items, and warns that shipping typically takes longer than for in-stock goods.

See also: Customised product

Preview parcel
noun, paid check
An optional service, sometimes marketed as ‘Package Preview’ that lets you request a look at a parcel before committing it to a shipping line, for a fee the internal price list lists at roughly CNY 20 per use (a 2026 promotion briefly cut this to about 14 US cents). It is a smaller, paid alternative to relying only on the free QC photos.

See also: QC photos

Prohibited and restricted items
noun, compliance list
Two separate help articles: one covering general import/export restrictions, one specifically listing items Lolobuy itself will not export. Both are worth a direct read rather than a summary if you are shipping anything battery-powered, liquid, or branded in bulk.

See also: Anti-counterfeiting policy

Q

QC photos
noun, inspection output
The photographs Lolobuy takes of an item once it arrives at the warehouse, before it ships to you. One help article promises 5 photos by default plus 3 for international parcels, all free on request if you want more; a different article gives a range of ‘3 to 6’ instead. A paid fine photo service also exists in the price list, which suggests the free tier may be a standard angle set and the paid tier a closer, seller-grade inspection — nowhere does Lolobuy actually draw that line in writing, so treat both figures as real but check with your order's support thread before assuming either one.

See also: Fine photo service, Standard inspection

R

Return/exchange window
noun, policy
How long you have to request a return or exchange once a parcel reaches a given status. One help article sets this at 5 days after the Stored status with tiered response times (24 to 72 hours depending on order stage); a different, later-updated article instead talks about a 45-day window after shipment and warns that requests made more than roughly 3 days after signing may not be accepted. The two are not the same policy restated — they read like two different versions written at different times. Check the request window on your own order's status page rather than assuming either figure applies.

S

Sensitive line
noun, shipping line type
A shipping line named for carrying items with extra restrictions — liquids, powders, battery-adjacent goods — at a higher price and usually a longer transit window than a standard line to the same country. The naming pattern (for example, a US-Sensitive-Line) shows up directly in Lolobuy's own line list rather than being this site's label.
Service fee
noun, pricing claim
Whatever Chinese platform the listing sits on, Lolobuy charges nothing to place the purchase itself — no percentage markup on top of the item price, unlike several agents in this category. That zero only covers the purchasing step; payment processing, storage overage and freight are separate charges and are not free.

See also: What It Costs

ShipCare
noun, optional insurance
Lolobuy's paid shipment-protection product, upgraded in August 2026. It now answers four separate what-ifs: the parcel never arrives, it arrives damaged or part-missing, customs seizes it, or it simply arrives very late. The fee runs 5–6% of (merchandise value + international shipping cost), and what you get back depends on which shipping line carried the parcel.

See also: Compensation policy

Shoe-box removal
noun, free add-on
A free packaging option that strips the retail shoe box before shipment, cutting both volume and weight. Footwear is one of the few categories where this materially changes the freight bill, since boxes are often bulkier than the item they hold.

See also: Minimalist packaging

Standard inspection
noun, warehouse step
The permanent, free quality check every purchased item goes through before it is shelved, separate from the paid photo add-ons. Lolobuy's help centre documents a defined scope for what this inspection does and does not catch, and a separate ‘secondary inspection’ service exists for goods already in storage if you want a second look later.

See also: QC photos

Storage overage fee
noun, warehouse billing
The charge once a parcel passes its free storage period: CNY 10 per LI per 30 days, where Lolobuy's own text uses the unit ‘LI’ without defining it — this site reads it as shorthand for a piece of stock, written exactly as the source has it. Parcels with no waybill submitted after the free period risk being treated as abandoned.

See also: Free storage period, the LI unit

Stored
noun, order status
The status an order reaches once the warehouse has weighed and shelved it. It is the anchor point for one of the two return-window policies in the help centre (see return/exchange window), and it is the status screenshot support tends to ask for first when you open a ticket.

See also: Return/exchange window

T

Tariff threshold
noun, duty reference
A reference table in the help centre showing the point at which a parcel's declared value starts attracting duty on a given line, and roughly what rate applies above it. It is a reading, not a quote — actual customs handling depends on the destination country's own rules at the time the parcel arrives.

See also: Declared value

Trustpilot widget
noun, review collector
A review-collection script embedded on Lolobuy's own homepage. This site does not quote a Trustpilot score anywhere, because collecting and verifying that number was outside the scope of the research pack this Lexicon draws from — if you want it, check Trustpilot directly rather than trusting a number repeated secondhand.

U

USDT and Bitcoin
noun, crypto payment
A cryptocurrency payment channel added later in Lolobuy's 2026 payment rollout, alongside the card and bank-transfer options. It is listed as its own line in the notice announcing it rather than folded into an existing payment method.

See also: Payment methods

UTC+8 clock widget
noun, site element
A small clock on Lolobuy's homepage showing the current time at UTC+8, the warehouse's own timezone. It is a practical cue for when support and warehouse staff are actually likely to be working, separate from whatever response-time figures a help article quotes.

V

VIP levels
noun, loyalty tiers
A six-tier structure, VIP0 through VIP5+, unlocked by growth points. Each tier raises a freight discount rate and a value-added-service discount rate, and grants a small number of free after-sales claims per period — the discounts scale up gradually rather than jumping at the top tier alone.

See also: Growth points

Volumetric weight
noun, shipping calculation
The weight a parcel is billed at when its box, not what's inside it, turns out to be the limiting factor. Take the three box dimensions, multiply them together, then divide by a fixed number to get a weight figure — Lolobuy's own figures disagree on that divisor: the public estimator uses 8000, while a help article about estimated versus real weight gives 6000 for one line type and 5000 for another. Run the volumetric-weight helper on this site with all three to see how much the choice actually moves your chargeable weight.

W

Warehouse address
noun, facility detail
See Chengdu warehouse for the full address and how this site confirmed it.
